Normanby is transformed into a winter wonderland at Christmas time.

The Hall and Victorian Walled Garden will be elegantly decorated with festive trimmings from the end of November, with lots of Yuletide activities to keep the whole family entertained.

Christmas Lunch

1 and 22 December served between 12pm and 2pm

The Regency Dining Room is the setting for festive Christmas meals, or the more intimate Morning Room is available for private dining for up to 25 people.

Breakfast or afternoon tea with Santa

Breakfast - 30 November, 14, 21, 23 December (breakfast served from 9am to 11:30am)
Afternoon Tea - 30 November, 14, 20, 21 December (afternoon tea served from 2pm to 4.30pm)

Santa will be napping, getting ready for his Christmas deliveries, so wake him and share a delicious breakfast or afternoon tea. Afterwards, join Mrs Claus for a traditional story by the fire and unwrap your present. 

Each child will receive a personalised invitation as well as a gift related to their hobbies and interests.

Santa's Grotto

1,20,23 December (daytime)
12,19,20,23 December (evening)

Families will be able to visit Santa in his grotto lined with real Christmas trees on selected days. Each group will have exclusive time allocated to meet Father Christmas to hear about his tales from the North Pole and receive an early festive surprise. Christmas Market

7 and 8 December, 10am to 4pm

Soak up the festive atmosphere as you browse stalls offering a wide range of Christmas gifts for all the family. There will also be a large variety of tasty hot food to keep you warm while exploring.

Deer feeding

Every Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 29 November to 22 December and also Monday 23 & Tuesday 24 December.

Wrap up warm and watch the Normanby team feed our majestic deer behind the hall. Grass becomes scarce in the winter so they are fed sugar beet and love the taste!

Wreath Making - Sold Out

Friday 29 & Saturday 30 November 10.30am to 2.30pm

Get creative this Christmas and join Emma in making a beautiful Christmas wreath using greenery from the grounds of Normanby Hall, materials will be supplied, and you will leave the workshop with a beautiful handmade wreath ready to hang up for Christmas.

Attendees will have to provide their own gloves and scissors for the workshop.

Due to the creative nature of this workshop, it will take place in our Park Education Room (PER), located next to the Splash Pad.
